Check out Will on YouTube

William is on his second week of going to daycare. It's really been good for him. He has been going to be around 7:30-8pm every night and seems to be playing his little tail off. When he started, he kinda had a rough first day. Was fussy and not playing whole lot. His second day, the sitter (Miss Shirley), told TJ that he did much better and she has discovered that he likes being in the big kid room rather than the baby room. Since this discovery, he does better and better everyday. Friday, he ventured into the baby room on his own but I'm sure it was just to get a toy! He might not like hanging with the babies but he sure doesn't mind playing with the baby toys! LOL!

My phone is still accting up and I have not been able to download all my videos and pictures since April!!! NOT happy but one day soon I will sit on the phone with Verizon for an hour and get it all figured out. I am learning how precious my extra time is now so Verizon is just not on my priority list. TJ has uploaded two videos on YouTube of William from yesterday. One is of him eating cheese (that's my boy!) and the other is of him rocking on his horse by himself!!! Geez, he is getting so big!!! Here is the link to TJ's YouTube site : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7elwezjX8A&feature=channel

William has been taking a few steps on his own here and there but not fully up and running yet. This week he took maybe 10 steps on his own. He is still saying 'dada' and he also says rooster (he says oo-ter) but he actually has not said rooster in about a week. He tries to say Cru (cu-cu). Now that I know TJ can upload these videos right from his phone to YouTube; I will start using his phone to take videos and post them. He might have messed up by letting me in on this juicy tid-bit of information!

I am working on the invites for William's bday party. I will order them tonight and then get them out next week. His bday party is going to be Sept 18th from 1-4pm at the house. Should be fun! I keep having to remind myself that this is just his first birthday and he will not remember any of it. I keep seeing all of this cute stuff and want it all!!! Streamers and balloons will be my new best friend (cheap and easy). Oh, and you will see it on the invitation but if you want to get William something for his birthday, we are asking for gift certificates to Babies/Toys- R-Us to get him a swing-set in the Spring.

Life is good right now. I have everything in life that is important to me and I am very aware and grateful. I have never focused on material things in life (even though they are fun for a while). I have always known exactly what I wanted and living the dream is awesome. I have a wonderful husband that makes me smile everyday and that loves me no matter what; a son that is just so perfect to me that there are really no words to describe him besides truly an angel and a dog that loves and protects us all. Sometimes I may get carried away with wanting this or wanting that but in the grand scheme of life, none of that crap is important or really matters. Every now and again, I slow down and look around at the life we have and I feel extremely lucky. Our stresses are minor compared to others in this world. I want to tell everyone reading this that we love you and are so glad you are in our lives.
