Update of William's Two Bottom Teefers

Happy Anniversary!

Today is our one year wedding anniversary! Mommy, Daddy and William have had a wonderful day so far. We woke up and William played with Cru, we went to breakfast, visited the chapel where we were married and have been doing some yard work. William has been such a good boy and has seemed to have fun all day. He is actually sitting next to me on the couch right now helping me press buttons on the computer! haha! Here are a few pics from today. Oh, and by the way, for any of you at the wedding last year, it was a bit chilly and WINDY today so it must be weather destined for March 28th! LOL!

What a big year it has been. I am one lucky woman to have found someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with. TJ makes me so happy and always keeps a smile on my face. Times maybe tough but as long as I have TJ by my side, we will make it. William has absolutley blessed us and has made us even more of a family. I love my boys more than words! Happy Anniversary!!

Easter Bunny!

It was beautiful outside today so William and I ran around and did some shopping. We went to Toys-R-Us, Carter's and the mall. He is so wonderful and just seems to love being out shopping. He never makes a peep and just looks around at everything. We had a great day and oh yeah, made a little stop to see the Easter Bunny!!! Will did amazing. He didn't cry but I think that was because he was to busy trying to pull on the Bunny's hair!

Serious about wanting to see the Bunny!

Almost my turn...

William's First Night In His Room

Well, this sure creeped up on me fast! The week flew by (being sick for 2 days didn't help) and last night was the night I said I would put William in his own bed. I had actaully completely forgot about it until Will and I were in the bathtub and starting the bedtime routine. When I remembered, I immediately got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach (again, yes, could have been left over from Wed). I had not even had a chance to pick up the Children's Benadryl the Dr. had suggested I give him to help ease him into sleeping through the night. I decided I had better go ahead and do it. Like a Band-Aid; just get it over with.
I took him up to his room, gave him a bottle and he was out. I laid him in his bed. He kept sleeping. I set up his video monitors and went down to my bedroom where I did not take my eyes off of him. Then, after about 10 minutes or so, my video went black. The batteries had died on the monitor upstairs. That freaked me out because I had been afraid that he would wake up scared, and I would not hear him crying.
I went ahead and changed out the batteries in both monitors to be on the safe side. Those suckers take a combined TEN batteries by the way! All was fine now. I had the monitor in my room plugged into an adapter so it was not using batteries but the one I had in his crib was not on an adapter so using batteries. I stared at the monitor even as my eyes birned from being so tired. He moved around a few times but that's about it. I probabley fell asleep around 10:30pm but I kept waking up and looking at the monitor so not really sure if I was ever truley asleep. I woke up again from 1:30am-3:30am. A loud thunderstorm came in at 5:30am PLUS I looked over at the monitor and it was black again! The freaking batteries had already died! Now I was borderline panic mode. I decided to just turn off anything in our room that made noise, open up Will's door and our door figuring I would either hear him cry or hear Cru's chain jingling as he got up to see what was wrong with him. I laid there knowing the lightning and thunder would scare him awake but after about an hour nothing. I fell back asleep and woke up as soon as I heard William make a peep which was at 9am.
Moral of the story, William got twelve hours of blissful sleep; I got maybe five. THIS is why I started on a Friday! :)

Sick as dogs!

Sorry I have not been posting much but TJ and I were VERY sick Tuesday night. We both got sick around 11pm and it lasted ALLLLLLL night until about 6:30am. It was one of the most brutal nights I have ever had! Ugh, glad it's over and our stomach's are still not 100% but we were feeling good enough for work by Friday. William slept the entire night though our constant up and down. What a good little man!

6 mo!

William had his 6 month Dr appt on the 12th. He 17.14 lbs and still in the 75th % for weight. He was 28 3/4 inches and is off the growth charts for height. :) They said about the 98%.  We receive quite a bit of information to get us to 9 months and looks like we are in for a bunch of change in a short period of time. He is doing great on sitting on his own. He can usually stay up until he leans over to grab something. He is trying to put EVERYTHING in his mouth. He "talks" all the time. He is starting to scream now, which is funny. He did it on Monday when TJ and I were at dinner. He just laid in his car seat and would scream and then smile. He doesn't know the difference. TJ and I were trying to shush him but then we would start laughing because he was too damn cute.
I did get a bit of a talking to from the doctor. She informed me that I had to not only quit letting William sleep in the bed with me when he wakes up in the middle of the night; BUT he also has to start sleeping in his OWN bed UPSTAIRS! UGH!! I knew it needed to be done but just love having him near me. Yes, I have become one of those mothers I swore I would never become. Obsessed with their baby. I said I would start the new routine the next weekend as my mom and Aunt Cinda were in town for the weekend, plus I will need to be on a weekend because I am not going to sleep a wink. I am sure I will be glued to the baby monitor all night. Since Will's Dr. appt on Friday, he has literally slept for 10 hrs or more every night! Hopefully, he will keep it up!
Saturday, Me, TJ, my Mom, Aunt Cinda, Dyna and Lonn worked on the yard. Will was running a mild fever and was pretty fussy from his 4 shots he got Friday but TJ's mom came over and took care of him so we could get some work done. We landscaped the backyard, put mulch down where we eventually would like to finish out our deck, poured cement to expand front walkway and painted the front door a shiny black! We had a lot of fun and got a ton of work done. I could hardly walk the next day but it was worth it. Everyone was impressed with Aunt Cinda. She is like the Energizer Bunny and it was very much appreciated. The yard is going to look fabulous!
TJ, his Dad and Lonn poured cement on what used to be a piddly joke of a flower bed that was placed in between the walkway to the front door and the house. We put William and Cru's footprints in the cement and it is really cute!
All and all we had a wonderful weekend and I am going to enjoy the week with William still sleeping in my room! :)

Weekend with Mommy!

Playing ball with Cru

Sitting up unassisted for a few seconds

Mondays are getting so hard these days. Friday night we had Mimi, Dyna and Lonn over to BBQ steaks. They had their wedding cake lady meet at the house with the samples and she ended up staying for dinner! We
all had a great time and of course, William refused sleep until the party was over!
The rest of the weekend I did not even get out of my PJ's. Saturday did a little work around the house, emphasis on LITTLE. I mostly just layed around with William. Daddy went camping Saturday night so he left around 4pm or so. Will and I just have a ball together. He is getting a little "seperation anxiety" as he would not let me put him down longer than 5-10 minutes Sat and Sunday. I think he gets bored and the little guy wants to play. He is so aware of everything around him. He grabs his toys, watches TV, is beginning to play with Cru. I am so ate up with him it's not even funny. I think he is the cutest damn thing I have ever seen and love him til it hurts.
Sunday when Daddy got home, Will heard his voice and zero'd in. William LOVES to play with Daddy. It is toooo cute! He hears his voice and that head goes whipping around. :)
We all laid on the couch for hours and watched several episodes of Mantracker. William played the whole time. He sat in between TJ and I and played with a wide variety of toys while making all sorts of new sounds. He gets so impressed with himself. One new funny sound he does it trying to do a big cough. He has the little, fake cough down pretty good but yesterday he wanted to do a loud cough. It was so funny because sometimes he would get it but the rest of the time he was just doing a deep yell. :) He tried all day and it was hilarious every time.
I am also working on getting Will to sit up on his own. I have been sitting him up, without support, and placing his hands in front of himself to hold him up. He does really good until he tries to reach for a toy!
It's a fun time right now watching William develop and try new things like sitting up, talking, fake coughing.... haha!

Marching Forward!

I cannot believe that William will be 6 months in a couple of weeks. He is truely a little sponge. He learns new things and does something new everyday. TJ and I love watching him figure things out. He is just a little angel and I love him more than words. :)

Here are a few pictures of him from this morning in his new sweater from Aunt Shiny's store! Too CUTE!
