6 mo!

William had his 6 month Dr appt on the 12th. He 17.14 lbs and still in the 75th % for weight. He was 28 3/4 inches and is off the growth charts for height. :) They said about the 98%.  We receive quite a bit of information to get us to 9 months and looks like we are in for a bunch of change in a short period of time. He is doing great on sitting on his own. He can usually stay up until he leans over to grab something. He is trying to put EVERYTHING in his mouth. He "talks" all the time. He is starting to scream now, which is funny. He did it on Monday when TJ and I were at dinner. He just laid in his car seat and would scream and then smile. He doesn't know the difference. TJ and I were trying to shush him but then we would start laughing because he was too damn cute.
I did get a bit of a talking to from the doctor. She informed me that I had to not only quit letting William sleep in the bed with me when he wakes up in the middle of the night; BUT he also has to start sleeping in his OWN bed UPSTAIRS! UGH!! I knew it needed to be done but just love having him near me. Yes, I have become one of those mothers I swore I would never become. Obsessed with their baby. I said I would start the new routine the next weekend as my mom and Aunt Cinda were in town for the weekend, plus I will need to be on a weekend because I am not going to sleep a wink. I am sure I will be glued to the baby monitor all night. Since Will's Dr. appt on Friday, he has literally slept for 10 hrs or more every night! Hopefully, he will keep it up!
Saturday, Me, TJ, my Mom, Aunt Cinda, Dyna and Lonn worked on the yard. Will was running a mild fever and was pretty fussy from his 4 shots he got Friday but TJ's mom came over and took care of him so we could get some work done. We landscaped the backyard, put mulch down where we eventually would like to finish out our deck, poured cement to expand front walkway and painted the front door a shiny black! We had a lot of fun and got a ton of work done. I could hardly walk the next day but it was worth it. Everyone was impressed with Aunt Cinda. She is like the Energizer Bunny and it was very much appreciated. The yard is going to look fabulous!
TJ, his Dad and Lonn poured cement on what used to be a piddly joke of a flower bed that was placed in between the walkway to the front door and the house. We put William and Cru's footprints in the cement and it is really cute!
All and all we had a wonderful weekend and I am going to enjoy the week with William still sleeping in my room! :)
