Weekend

William and Mommy had a great weekend together. Saturday Daddy played in a golf tourney with Slate so we got to spend the entire day (and night) together. I had a list of places I wanted to run to Saturday but I was having a problem with my eye which made that a no-go. One place we did go is to get a pedi (because I had already left the house and was unaware about my eye problem until I was in the sunlight and driving- not good, I know). William and I met Mimi to get a pedi and William was a little angel as always. He was trying to get the red light at the bottom of my water tub and that was funny!

I had Mimi follow me home with William because I did not want to drive with him in the car in case the sun was too bright for my eye again and the rest of the day we cleaned, napped and played. Lately, Daddy and I have been able to put William in the corner of the chaise and he plays with his millions of toys but apparently that is no more....

I was right around the corner putting in a load of laundry and come back in to this! He had grabbed the picture frame and coasters from the BACK of the table and was pulling on the lamp!

The honeymoon is over!

Looks like no more Easy Street for Mommy and Daddy. :) I had a great time with him though. He has been a little much to handle in the evenings but that is because he has another top tooth that is about to come in so he is a little cranky. As long as you stand up holding him then he is GOLDEN! If you are walking around with him then he will be fine but try to put him down and it's another story. Can't tell if he is acting spoiled or just bored of his toys and wants to be entertained. Think it could be a little of both.

Will is also crying when he meets new people/someone he has not seen in a while. It's actually pretty damn cute because he makes the saddest little sad face you have ever seen! I always feel so bad when he does it to people but I guess it's normal from what I have read/heard. Stranger Danger!! :) Once the person ignores him then he just STARES them down. He will give a little teaser smile from across the room and I guess once he watches them long enough then he will let them hold him. I just cannot hand him off to people like I could when he was younger.
One thing that I have been selfishly enjoying is William has started to cling to me. He doesn't do it all the time but sometimes he will turn towards me and just grab a hold of me and bury himself. I love it. It's sweet. It makes me feel like a Mommy. :)
Sunday we met Slate, Dyna and Lonn for breakfast. We sat outside and it was sooo nice out. It was a good time. Didn't really do much Sunday but hung out at the house. Turned out to be a pretty lazy weekend but I've discovered that those are definitely the best!
